A man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed amid a fight in Trafford.
The violent brawl broke out on Moorside Road, near the junction with the Brook Road, in the Flixton area at around 11.30pm on Saturday night (July 18). Police said officers responded to reports of a ‘disturbance’ which involved a ‘group of men fighting’.
A 21-year-old man was found with stab wounds on the scene. He was rushed to hospital by paramedics.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson described his condition as ‘serious but stable’. No arrests have been made and police have now launched an investigation ‘to identify those responsible’.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing a large police and paramedics presence on the scene into the early hours of Sunday morning as investigations were carried out. Anyone with information or footage has been urged to contact the force.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Moorside Road, Flixton shortly after 11.30pm on Saturday 18 July 2026 to reports of a disturbance involving a group of men fighting. We swiftly attended and found a 21-year-old man with injuries consist with a knife.
“The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.”
Detective Inspector Karl Perry of Trafford CID said: “I understand the concern incidents like this cause to our local community, and I would like to reassure residents that our investigation is working at pace to identify those responsible. I would ask if anyone was in the area at the time either driving or walking past to please come forward with information.
