An urgent appeal for help has been issued as the search for a boy missing from a North Wales holiday park enters its fourth day. 16-year-old Rhys disappeared from the Talacre Beach Resort on Sunday evening.
His family have been searching for him since then, and it was today confirmed a new search will be organised today, starting at 11am from the holiday park at Station Road.
An appeal shared on social media said: “Rhys has been missing since approximately 6pm on Sunday evening after last being seen in the Talacre Beach area. He was wearing a red top, black shorts, sliders.
“If you are in the Talacre, Prestatyn or surrounding areas, please keep a careful lookout. North Wales Police are actively searching and are asking members of the public to assist if they are able.“If you can join the search please meet at Talacre Beach Resort, Station Road, Talacre, Holywell, CH8 9RD. Rhys is known to us and we are deeply concerned for his welfare.”
The appeal added: “Are you near train tracks? Check the area. Are you working in a shop – did a kid steal a drink/food over last couple of days?
“Have you found a black slider shoe? Have you found a blue man bag? Have you seen anyone match description? No matter how small the information, it may mean something Please make the call.

A police update yesterday (Tuesday) said: “We continue to search for Rhys (16). Rhys was last seen at the at the Talacre Beach Resort on Sunday 19th July at around 7.30pm.
“Rhys is thought to be wearing a red t shirt, black shorts and black sliders and carrying a blue man bag. He has links to the St Helens area of Merseyside.
