This year’s total marks an increase of three awards for the London borough compared to last year.
Newly recognised sites in Wandsworth include Harroway Gardens, Huguenot Old Burial Ground, and Putney Lower Common Cemetery.
Ethan Brooks, cabinet member for environment at Wandsworth Council, said: “Recognition in these national awards is testament to the quality of our parks and the time, care and attention our teams put into maintaining them, as well as the important role they play in daily life across our borough.
“Whether people are exercising, meeting friends, spending time with family or enjoying nature, Wandsworth’s parks provide welcoming spaces for everyone to enjoy.
“We’d like to thank the communities, volunteers and staff who help make these green spaces such valued places.”
Awards are given to sites that are welcoming, accessible, environmentally sustainable, and valued by the community.
This year’s Wandsworth winners include major destinations such as Battersea Park and Tooting Common, as well as smaller neighbourhood green spaces.
Feedback for the newly awarded parks included praise for the rich biodiversity and heritage features of Huguenot Old Burial Ground.
Putney Lower Common Cemetery, the first cemetery in the borough to earn a Green Flag, was also recognised for its biodiversity.
Harroway Gardens impressed following recent improvements to play spaces, accessibility, and biodiversity, all shaped by resident feedback.
King George’s Park was commended for its extensive sports and play facilities and biodiversity measures, including wildflower meadows.
Wandsworth Common was praised for remaining a well-managed and much-loved space for both people and wildlife.
