Today (5th June) is World Environment Day, and to celebrate, London Euston’s garden has been revamped.
The station’s Railway 200 garden, located next to the east taxi rank, has been worked on as part of National Volunteers’ Week.
Staff from Network Rail and its industry partners spent time clearing weeds and planting new flora.
The garden refresh was supported by Mitie and HS2, and contractor Mace Dragados Joint Venture funded the planting.

“This World Environment Day, we’re proud to work with our Team Euston partners to keep our Railway 200 garden looking its best, and I’d like to thank everyone who has taken part.
“Planting new flowers and greenery is helping to brighten the station environment, support biodiversity and create a more welcoming space for the millions of people who pass through Euston.”
Kathrin Pranga-Wells, station customer experience manager for Network Rail
