Trahan Architects announced several new hires and promotions. Kendall Baldwin becomes managing principal, overseeing New Orleans and New York studio operations. Baldwin has previous experience at Grimshaw, Thomas Phifer and Partners and WXY. Sandra Baggerman was promoted to project designer after 2½ years with the firm. Stephen Breaux was promoted to project designer after five years with the firm.
Jamie Stogsdill
Jamie Stogsdill has been promoted to become Arkansas and Louisiana consumer banking executive for Regions Bank, overseeing retail banking operations in New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Shreveport; Little Rock and Fayetteville, Arkansas; and additional markets. Stogsdill joined Regions as a branch manager in 2012 and served as a consumer banking manager for Tennessee for a decade before she was promoted last year to become retail sales and service manager for Regions’ middle and east Tennessee and Georgia/Carolinas districts.
Victoria Bagot
Victoria Bagot has been named to the board of directors of the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children. Bagot is a partner in the corporate practice group at Jones Walker in New Orleans and co-leader of the law firm’s hiring and recruitment committee.
Michelle Michler is a tax manager with Accounting Services Unlimited.
Michelle Michler has been hired as tax manager at Accounting Services Unlimited. Michler, who has more than a decade of experience consulting on tax planning and strategies, will advise small-business owners on income tax and Louisiana tax relief matters.
Baton Rouge
Sabrina Hogan
Sabrina Hogan has been promoted to become senior vice president of government programs for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana. Hogan, who has had senior positions at St. Francis Medical Center and St. Francis Medical Group in Monroe in the past, was most recently senior vice president for care delivery and president of Louisiana Blue’s wholly owned subsidiary, TeleHealth.
Jimmy Soper
Jimmy Soper has been named the first coach of the Baton Rouge Kingfish, the newly rebranded Federal Prospects Hockey League minor league club. Soper is a nine-year veteran of professional hockey with experience at multiple levels of the sport, most recently as captain of the Knoxville Ice Bears in the Southern Professional Hockey League.
Allison Colón is a senior counsel in Kean Miller’s Baton Rouge office.
Allison Colón has joined Kean Miller as senior counsel. Her arrival strengthens the firm’s commercial litigation, complex business transactions and corporate bankruptcy practices. Colón has more than 25 years of legal experience.
Carlos Sample has been hired as the next head coach of the Baton Rouge Community College basketball program. Sample was a two-time All-Southwestern Athletic Conference selection at Southern University before spending 16 seasons as head coach at Scotlandville Magnet High School, which reached 14 consecutive state championship games and amassed a record of 676-198 under his leadership.
The Louisiana Pharmacists Association installed new officers and directors at its annual convention in Bossier City. Richard Bordelon, of Women’s Retail Pharmacy in Baton Rouge, becomes capital regional director; Christopher Gillard, of Xavier University, becomes the Orleans regional director; and Steve Ritter, of Kenner, becomes the Pontchartrain regional director. Kevin LaGrange, of The Apothecary Shoppe in Lafayette, is the association’s new president. Scott Black, of Gulfcoast Pharmaceutical Specialty in Prairieville, is its president-elect; Michael Cockerham, of University of Louisiana Monroe College of Pharmacy in Shreveport, is the immediate past president; and Minh Nguyen, of Willow Bank Pharmacy in Gray, is its treasurer.
Acadiana
Al Patin will become CEO of Ochsner South Shore Community Hospitals and Bayou Region, starting Aug. 3. Patin has been with Ochsner for 23 years, spending the last five as CEO of Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.
