Trump Issues Fiery Threat: Oman Risks Being ‘Bombed’ if Interfering in Iran Conflict

Washington D.C. – President Donald Trump has escalated his rhetoric regarding the ongoing conflict with Iran, issuing a stark warning to Oman, stating the Sultanate risks being "bombed the s*** out of" if it obstructs his administration’s actions against Tehran. The incendiary remarks come as the 60-day ceasefire between the US and Iran is set to expire tomorrow, further heightening tensions in the volatile Middle East.

Speaking to Fox News’ Trey Yingst, President Trump revealed that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) had opened a back channel for peace talks with his administration. Despite this, the President maintained a defiant stance, remarking, "They’re good poker players, but they’re dying. I have no time schedule. I’m not in a hurry."

However, the President’s tone shifted dramatically when discussing Oman’s involvement in negotiations to reopen the vital Strait of Hormuz. In an unvarnished statement to reporters, Trump declared, "If Oman gets in the way, we’ll bomb the s*** out of them." This aggressive stance highlights the delicate diplomatic tightrope Oman, a nation historically known for its neutrality and mediation efforts in the region, is currently walking.

The escalating rhetoric follows a series of provocative actions from both sides. The Iranian military recently announced a bounty system, offering $30,000 for the killing or kidnapping of US soldiers in the region, with a higher sum of $60,000 if the act is carried out by a woman. This announcement is particularly alarming given there are currently no ground deployments of US soldiers in Iran, only continued air strikes.

As the conflict enters its fifth month, prospects for a peaceful resolution appear increasingly dim. Earlier this month, a senior US military command sent out an email, seen by CNN, to high-ranking military analysts. The email reportedly solicited "new, creative, and unconventional ways to pressure and punish Iran," indicating the Trump administration’s continued focus on punitive measures.

US Central Command (CENTCOM) spokesperson Captain Timothy Hawkins defended the internal solicitation, telling CNN, "US Central Command has a long history of thinking and working in innovative ways. Admiral Cooper, in particular, reaches out to members of our great team, regardless of rank, to achieve the highest levels of operational performance possible."

This latest development underscores the precarious state of US-Iran relations and introduces a new layer of concern regarding regional stability. The direct threat against Oman, a crucial player in Gulf diplomacy, signals a potentially dangerous expansion of the conflict if diplomatic channels fail to prevent further escalation. The international community will be closely watching as the ceasefire deadline looms and the situation in the Middle East remains on a knife-edge.
