SSC CHSL 2025: First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) Results Announced, 3,515 Candidates Shortlisted

NEW DELHI, India – The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) results for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2025. The highly anticipated results, announced on August 17, 2026, mark a significant milestone for thousands of aspirants vying for various government positions. A total of 3,515 candidates have been provisionally recommended for document verification, moving one step closer to securing their desired roles.

The FRTA announcement follows a rigorous selection process that began with the application period from June 23 to July 18, 2025. The Tier-I examination was conducted between November 12 and November 30, 2025, with its results declared on February 27, 2026. Subsequently, the Tier-II examinations were held in April 2026, culminating in the recent FRTA.

A significant 13,395 candidates submitted their option-cum-preferences between June 19 and June 25, 2026. The provisional recommendations are based on candidates’ performance in Section-I and Section-II of the Tier-II examination, contingent upon their qualification in the Computer Knowledge Test (CKT) and Skill/Typing Tests where applicable. The SSC has also clearly outlined the requirements for Section-III and Section-IV, alongside the tie-resolution rules to ensure fairness and transparency in the allocation process.

Sliding Mechanism Introduced for Optimal Vacancy Utilisation

In a strategic move to maximize the utilization of available vacancies, the Commission has introduced a "sliding mechanism." This innovative approach aims to reallocate eligible candidates in a single round, ensuring that no potential role goes unfilled unnecessarily.

Crucial Dates for Recommended Candidates

Recommended candidates must act swiftly to participate in the sliding process. They are required to log in to the official SSC website between August 20 and August 22, 2026, to select their preferred venue, date, and time slot for the physical process. The physical sliding process is scheduled to take place at designated Regional Office cities from September 1 to September 3, 2026. Candidates are strongly advised to adhere to these deadlines, as failure to attend the physical process will result in them being marked absent and excluded from the final result.

Candidates can access the official FRTA notice and check their results directly through this direct link.
