A second episode followed just four days later during a match against Heidenheim. Seeking to quell growing concerns among the fanbase, Musiala took to social media to share his diagnosis directly. "I know these things might seem scary at first glance, but for me, they are currently part of my everyday life," he wrote on Instagram. "I’m receiving the best medical treatment and am very optimistic. Importantly, there is no further health risk."
Head coach Vincent Kompany emphasized that the club has been working closely with medical experts to adjust the midfielder’s treatment plan. "We’ve been dealing with it for longer… that initial shock was a while ago, since then we’ve been given a lot more information and have made decisions with the help of the best experts," Kompany stated.
