Panipat, Haryana: Professional wrestling legend Dalip Singh Rana, globally renowned as The Great Khali, has assured fans of his safety following a vehicle collision at a toll plaza in Panipat, Haryana, this past Saturday.

The incident, which saw the wrestling superstar’s SUV sustain minor damage, quickly became a topic of concern after footage of the aftermath began circulating on social media. The video clips showed the towering athlete exiting his vehicle at the toll plaza to assess the situation.

“No Big Deal,” Says Khali

Taking to his social media platforms on Sunday, the WWE Hall of Famer addressed the viral footage directly to soothe the worries of his global fanbase. In a selfie video, Khali confirmed that he remained completely uninjured during the mishap.

“I have received many calls and messages regarding the accident. I want to tell you that I am completely fine,” Khali said, attributing his safety to the grace of God and the well-wishes of his supporters. “The car sustained some minor damage, but it’s no big deal.”

He further noted that he had initially hoped to keep the minor incident private, as he did not deem it serious enough to warrant public attention. He concluded his message by thanking his fans for their outpouring of concern and closed with a patriotic “Jai Bharat!”

Beyond the Ring: A Storied Career

Since departing from WWE in 2014, the former heavyweight champion has remained a prominent figure in the public eye. His post-wrestling career has been marked by his commitment to nurturing the next generation of Indian talent through his Jalandhar-based promotion and training academy, Continental Wrestling Entertainment (CWE).
