Hema Malini attended a special screening of Krishnavataram Part 1 – The Heart in Mathura and praised the film’s scale, performances, and spiritual essence. The screening was held at JV Cinema in Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, making the occasion especially emotional and significant. Hema Malini watched the film in full and appreciated its “grand scale, visual presentation, and overall cinematic experience.”The film stars Siddharth Gupta as Lord Krishna, alongside Sushmita Bhatt, Nivashini Krishnan, Sanskruti Jayana and J. Karthik. Speaking about Hema Malini’s reaction, producer Sajan Raj Kurup said she appreciated the actors’ performances, direction, and the film’s large-scale production. Hema Malini also praised the music, hand-painted costumes, handcrafted jewellery, and the effort put in by the entire team, while extending her best wishes to them.The film was largely shot in Gujarat, considered Lord Krishna’s karmabhoomi. Its trailer was launched at Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, while the team also sought blessings at Banke Bihari Temple, Prem Mandir and ISKCON in Vrindavan. The film is currently running in over 1,500 theatres across India and has also been declared tax-free in Uttar Pradesh.
