Police, fire and ambulance were called to reports of a road traffic collision in the early hours of Sunday, May 24 on the M4 West between junction 14 (Hungerford) and 15 (Swindon East).
Upon arrival, they discovered a vehicle had left the main carriageway and crashed into a tree.
Fortunately the driver was able to exit the vehicle safely and they were taken into the care of the ambulance service to be checked over.
Police closed one lane for crew safety and vehicle recovery, but this appears to have since reopened.
