MOTORCYCLISTS have been warned after they were caught breaking laws on Herefordshire roads.
Enforcement activity has been carried out across Herefordshire and surrounding counties, targeting offences involving motorcycles and e-bikes .
On the A40 in Ross-on-Wye, officers issued 12 traffic offence reports for uninsured driving, illegal visors and window tints, and mobile phone use.
One illegal e-bike was also seized during the operation, while others were spoken to over excessively loud exhausts, driving standards and tyre-related issues.
In Hereford, two illegal e-bikes were seized in separate incidents.
One rider failed to stop and abandoned the bike, but following a brief foot chase, was later located and dealt with for multiple offences, including careless riding, failing to stop, and no insurance.
And, just over the border in Worcestershire on the A4440 and A44, police caught five speeders, three motorcycles with illegal number plates, one mobile phone offence, while a vehicle seized for no tax, and a motorcycle seized for no insurance and no valid licence.
A learner motorcyclist was also stopped and given advice on their lack of suitable clothing after they were spotted riding in jeans and trainers.
