The Tal Tamr City Council, in coordination with the People’s Municipality, continued today its regular cleaning operations in Tal Tamr city and its countryside, within a plan aimed at improving environmental conditions and raising the level of services provided to residents.

The cleaning operations, carried out on Monday, included the southern neighborhood of the city, particularly the area of the Martyr Khabat Commune, where service teams removed waste and cleaned streets and public squares, as part of the weekly program implemented every Monday and Thursday.

In the same context, the Council of Qubur al-Qarajneh town, affiliated with Tal Tamr, began cleaning operations in the villages within its administrative area, starting from Tal Ayn al-Abd village. The work included removing waste and cleaning roads and public spaces, and is set to continue in the coming days to cover all villages under the council’s jurisdiction.

These efforts come as part of ongoing work by local councils and municipalities to maintain public health, improve service conditions, and provide a clean and safe environment, contributing to enhancing the urban appearance of Tal Tamr city and its countryside and responding to residents’ needs.

Previously, on June 25, the Tal Tamr City Council, in coordination with the People’s Municipality, launched comprehensive cleaning operations targeting neighborhoods in the city center, including street cleaning, public squares, and removal of accumulated waste and debris. The council stated at the time that these efforts would continue regularly twice a week, as part of a plan aimed at improving service conditions, enhancing public cleanliness, and protecting the environment and public health in the city.
