The procedure, which was performed by the medical team led by Professor Luigi Tarallo at the Orthopedic Clinic of the Policlinico di Modena hospital, and directed by Professor Fabio Catani, was successfully completed without complications.
Taking advantage of the summer break in the MotoGP calendar, the Ducati Lenovo Team rider will now begin his planned recovery and rehab program. Depending on his post-op progress, the goal is to return to the track for the British Grand Prix, scheduled for August 7th–9th at Silverstone.
