An Airbus A320 carrying 137 passengers and eight crew members experienced a sudden loss of altitude on August 4 while en route from Phuket, Thailand, to New Delhi, India. The aircraft reportedly dropped approximately 300 feet (91 meters) before pilots were able to stabilize it. Following the incident, the plane continued its flight and landed safely in New Delhi. The civil aviation ministry confirmed the details of the event.
