While Id-E-Milad/Baravafat is the primary reason for these closures, residents in Kerala will also be observing the festival of Thiruvonam, further contributing to the regional nature of today’s bank holiday.
Digital Banking Remains Functional
Despite the closure of physical branch locations, customers do not need to halt their financial activities entirely. Most essential banking services remain available through digital channels.
Individuals can continue to perform routine transactions, such as fund transfers and bill payments, using the following platforms:
