The shop will offer year-round home decor, including kitchen textiles, candles, and tabletop accessories, alongside an expansive array of holiday-specific items ranging from pumpkins and Christmas trees to Easter decor.

The venture is a family affair, with Bello receiving substantial support from her husband and five children. Her eldest daughter, Aubrey Kobold, noted that her mother has always possessed a talent for making the holidays feel magical, regardless of circumstances. For the Bello family, who moved to Columbia five years ago, the shop serves as a meaningful way to deepen their ties to the local community.

Meat Market at Mizzou Relocates

The popular Meat Market at Mizzou has successfully transitioned to a new, state-of-the-art facility. The market is now operating out of the Michael L. Parson Meat Science Education and Training Laboratory at 1102 Ashland Road.

This move marks a significant upgrade for the program, as the new facility allows for a greater capacity of livestock for research and increased hands-on training opportunities for students. The market continues to provide the public with high-quality beef, pork, chicken, lamb, goat, and smoked products. Customers can visit the new location Wednesday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Tacos y Mas Secures New Brick-and-Mortar Home

The local favorite food truck and catering business, Tacos y Mas, is moving off the road and into a permanent location at 12-A Business Loop.

Perhaps most notably, SAVA Mediterranean plans to cater to the city’s nightlife, with operating hours extending until 2 a.m. from Thursday through Sunday.
