By A Thread, a women’s clothing boutique on South Atherton Street, will close its brick-and-mortar storefront and continue through online sales and community events, owner Emily Boone announced. The boutique hosted a farewell event called “Red, White & Thank You” on June 20, with Boone citing changing business needs and family growth as factors in her decision not to renew her lease.
