Since 1999, emerging designers from Fashion Design Studio – once known as East Sydney Tech – have presented graduate collections at Australian Fashion Week.
The stage has acted as a launchpad for the likes of Anna Quan, Christopher Esber, Dion Lee, Romance Was Born, Michael Lo Sordo and Bianca Spender. While these designers have now graduated to their own runways – here in Australia and beyond – the FDS runway remains a vital place of origin for designers who are ready to take the next step in their careers.
