Police have released a new CCTV image as the search for a missing bride-to-be enters its second week. Eren Wright, 29, has not been seen since Wednesday, October 27, sparking growing concerns for her safety.
The latest footage released by Fylde Police shows Ms. Wright leaving her home on St David’s Road South in Lytham St Annes shortly after 10 a.m. on the day she vanished. In the image, she is seen carrying two bags, but her current whereabouts remain a mystery.
Authorities confirmed that Ms. Wright’s mobile phone has been switched off since approximately 5:30 p.m. on the day she went missing, at which time it last pinged in the Birkdale area of Southport. Further complicating the search, police have stated that her bank accounts remain empty, and there has been no activity on them since she disappeared.
Her fiancé, Silas O’Carroll Pond, has been at the forefront of the search, issuing desperate pleas for information. Speaking earlier this week, Mr. O’Carroll Pond described the family’s ordeal as they wait for news. “Myself and the pets are freaking out not knowing where she is and if she is ok,” he said. “I have contacted the police and they are searching. Has anybody seen her today in Blackpool or have any information as to her whereabouts?”
Police have provided a detailed description of Ms. Wright to assist the public. She is described as white, five feet seven inches tall, and of slim build with blonde hair. She has distinctive tattoos of vines and a tree on her hands and arms. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a light olive green hoodie featuring a painting on the front, beige or cream wide-legged trousers, and a pair of worn-out white trainers.
Officers are treating the disappearance as a priority and are urging anyone who may have information to come forward immediately. The investigation is ongoing, and police are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have seen someone matching her description in the Lytham St Annes or Southport areas.
“Fylde Police have urged anyone who sees Eren or knows where she might be to call 999 immediately,” a spokesperson for the force said. Members of the public are asked to quote log number 1309 of October 27 when providing information.
