Ravi Teja’s latest cinematic outing, Irumudi, is proving to be a resilient performer at the box office. After an impressive debut, the film saw a steady upward trend on its second day, further cementing its position as a major draw for audiences across the country.
According to data from industry tracker Sacnilk, the action-drama recorded a 5.2% growth on Saturday, raking in an estimated Rs 16.10 crore in India net collections. This follows a strong opening day of Rs 15.30 crore, bringing the film’s total India net collection to an impressive Rs 31.40 crore within just 48 hours of release.
Strong Domestic and Global Performance
The total India gross for Irumudi currently stands at Rs 36.45 crore. When factoring in its robust international performance—where the film has already secured approximately Rs 11 crore in overseas gross—the total worldwide collection has reached a commendable Rs 47.45 crore.
The film’s success is heavily anchored in the Telugu-speaking states. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana emerged as the primary contributors on Day 2, generating Rs 15.75 crore of the total Rs 18.70 crore India gross. Interest remained consistent throughout the day, starting at 63% during morning screenings and climbing steadily to an impressive 88.31% for the night shows, suggesting strong word-of-mouth appeal.
