The National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted the re-NEET exam on June 21, 2026. The re-examination was held in offline mode at more than 5,400 centres in India and abroad, with candidates marking their responses on OMR sheets. The official answer key, however, will be released later by NTA on its NEET portal. Along with the provisional answer key, candidates will also be able to access their recorded responses and OMR sheets. After reviewing challenges submitted by candidates, the agency will publish the final answer key before announcing the result.Candidates are hereby suggested that until the official answer key is declared, they should depend upon the verified information provided by NTA and compare the unofficial answers with the official one in order to evaluate their performance.
Re-NEET answer key 2026 : Steps to download
After the publication of the official Re-NEET 2026 answer key by the NTA, candidates should follow these steps in order to download the same:
- Go to the
official NEET website : neet.nta.nic.in - Click on the link titled “NEET UG 2026 Answer Key” or “Re-NEET 2026 Answer Key” on the homepage.
- Log in using your Application Number and Password/Date of Birth.
- The answer key and your recorded responses/OMR sheet will appear on the screen.
- Select your question paper code, if required.
- Download the answer key PDF.
- Save a copy and compare your responses with the official answers to estimate your score.
Re-NEET exam 2026 : How to calculate your probable score
Candidates can estimate their marks using the NEET marking scheme:
- Add 4 marks for every correct answer.
- Deduct 1 mark for every incorrect answer.
- No marks are awarded or deducted for unanswered questions.
