Aakhri Sawal to premiere with Indian Sign Language on May 8
Nikhil Nanda, the producer of Aakhri Sawal, shared this news on X (formerly Twitter). In his post, he stated, “Aakhri Sawal sets a new standard in cinematic accessibility, becoming the first film to be released with born accessible Indian Sign Language on 8 May.”
The film, which also features Neetu Chandra in a prominent role, is inspired by the century-long journey of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). It has been produced collaboratively by Sanjay, Nikhil, Puneet Nanda, Dr. Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey, and Ujjwal Anand. Meanwhile, Utkarsh Naithani has contributed to the film’s story, screenplay, and dialogues. Aakhri Sawal was initially scheduled for release on May 15, but its debut was moved up by a week.

In addition to Sanjay and Neetu, the cast of Aakhri Sawal features Sameera Reddy, Amit Sadh, Tridha Choudhury, and Namashi Chakraborty in significant roles. In an interview with Money Control, Neetu disclosed that she portrays a strong media personality in Aakhri Sawal. Chandra mentioned that she plays the character of an editor-in-chief at a major news channel.
On another note, Monty Sharma has composed the music for this film, with lyrics written by Kumar Vishwas. Recently, Sanjay also shared his character poster from Aakhri Sawal, featuring a tagline that states ‘The Question India Never Stopped Asking’. For those unaware, the teaser was released on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti.
