Iconic Action Legends Unite: Sunny Deol, Mithun Chakraborty, Sanjay Dutt, and Jackie Shroff Film Peppy Dance Track for ‘Baap’

In what promises to be a cinematic treat for fans of 90s action cinema, four of Bollywood’s most enduring icons—Sunny Deol, Mithun Chakraborty, Sanjay Dutt, and Jackie Shroff—have come together for an electrifying promotional music video for their upcoming film, Baap.

A Fusion of Choreography and High-Octane Action

While the principal photography for the film wrapped up in April 2025, the team recently regrouped to film a high-energy dance track in June. The shoot took place on a specially constructed, rugged-looking mill set located at Madh Island.

Moving beyond a standard promotional music video, the track aims to blend the stars’ legendary “macho” image with rhythmic choreography. According to reports, the video will be intercut with intense action set-pieces from the film to maintain the high-stakes intensity audiences expect from this star-studded cast. One particularly anticipated sequence reportedly features Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt engaged in a high-tension fight atop a Boeing plane.

Behind the Scenes of a Mega-Collaboration

The idea to include a dance-heavy promotional song was a long-term plan for the production team. While a previous track celebrating the camaraderie of the four stars was successfully filmed in the picturesque jungles of Mizoram and at Film City, Mumbai, the peppy dance number was saved for a later date to ensure it captured the right energy.

Comedian Johny Lever is also set to make an appearance in the video, providing a touch of humor to balance the heavy action. The production is being led by producer Ahmed Khan and director Vivek Chauhan, both of whom have expressed immense excitement about orchestrating such a massive union of talent.

“It was great fun to have the true action heroes dancing and doing dialoguebaazi,” Ahmed Khan remarked following the shoot. Director Vivek Chauhan echoed these sentiments, noting, “Seeing these macho icons together in one frame is a cinematic feast!”

With stunt choreography handled by experts Parvez Shaikh and Ravi Varma, Baap is positioning itself as a nostalgic yet fresh return to the golden age of Bollywood action.
