Delaware Division of Small Business Bolsters Team with Key Appointments

DOVER, Del. – The Delaware Division of Small Business (DSB) has announced the strategic expansion of its team, welcoming Tatiyana Graves and Kira Manuszak to help advance the state’s economic and tourism goals. These new additions come at a critical time as the agency looks to streamline program management and elevate Delaware’s standing as a premier destination for major sporting events.

The recent Division of Small Business update highlights a focus on internal capacity and specialized outreach, ensuring that the state continues to provide robust support to entrepreneurs and local businesses alike.

Strengthening Program Operations

Tatiyana Graves joins the DSB in the newly established role of Programs Manager. In this pivotal capacity, Graves will serve as the primary institutional lead for the division’s active portfolio of programs. Her mandate is to provide oversight and operational continuity, ensuring that program cycles remain efficient and that small businesses across the First State have consistent access to scaling opportunities.

Graves arrives at the DSB with an extensive background in community-centric initiatives. She previously served at Delaware Technical Community College, where she played an instrumental role within the Workforce Development and Community Education departments. Her work there focused on driving program development, fostering key partnerships, and streamlining operations to enhance student success. Graves stated that she is eager to apply her expertise to the small business sector, helping entrepreneurs navigate the necessary resources to reach their growth potential.

Elevating Sports Tourism

Alongside the growth within the DSB, the Delaware Tourism Office (DTO)—which falls under the DSB’s oversight—has appointed Kira Manuszak as the new Sports Tourism Coordinator.

Manuszak is tasked with the comprehensive management of Delaware’s sports-related business portfolio, including the attraction and retention of high-impact events. By collaborating closely with the DTO’s Sports Sales Leader, Manuszak will work to promote each of Delaware’s three counties as an ideal backdrop for regional, national, and international competition.

Manuszak brings a deep understanding of the athletic landscape to her new role, having most recently served as the Assistant Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Coach and Athletic Administrative Assistant at the University of Valley Forge in Pennsylvania. She expressed enthusiasm for her new role, noting that she looks forward to building statewide partnerships and creating economic opportunities by drawing athletes, teams, and spectators to Delaware.
