After adding Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs for The Rising of the Shield Hero Seasons 1 and 2 earlier this year, Crunchyroll has now expanded its regional language offering with dubbed versions of Seasons 3 and 4 as well.
The update means all four seasons of the isekai fantasy anime are now available on the platform in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, giving Indian audiences a complete way to experience Naofumi Iwatani’s story.
The Rising of the Shield Hero follows Naofumi, an ordinary young man who is suddenly transported to another world and chosen as one of four legendary Cardinal Heroes. Armed only with the Shield, he quickly finds himself betrayed, falsely accused, and abandoned, forcing him to survive on his own while building allies and earning back the trust of those around him.
Season 3 continues after the events of the Spirit Tortoise arc, with Naofumi working to rebuild Raphtalia’s home and facing new political conflicts, rival factions, and powerful enemies.
The anime adaptation first premiered in 2019, with Season 2 following in 2022. Produced by Kinema Citrus, the franchise currently spans four seasons, with the fourth season airing last year.
The story is based on the light novel series written by Aneko Yusagi and illustrated by Seira Minami. A fifth season of the anime has already been announced.
