Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mauritian Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation, with digital development and cybersecurity among the key areas of focus during their latest meeting in Seychelles.
The two leaders met after their earlier discussions at the AI Summit at the beginning of the year, reviewing progress under the India–Mauritius Enhanced Strategic Partnership and exploring new opportunities for collaboration across strategic sectors.
According to Modi, both sides expressed satisfaction with the progress being made under their Enhanced Strategic Partnership, including projects being implemented through India’s Special Economic Package for Mauritius. The discussions also covered the next phase of cooperation in areas such as capacity building, skills development, defence, energy and cybersecurity.
