The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) is not convinced that environmental regulators and government can fulfil their existing responsibilities while delivering ambitious reforms. In a new report, the PAC warns that the current regulatory system requires substantial changes, and is not working as well as it should to support nature recovery or economic growth.
