Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethiâs younger son, Aayushmaan Sethi, recently fell victim to an alleged credit card scam, losing Rs 87,000. The incident came to light through a vlog shared by his elder brother Aaryamann Sethi on his channel Aary Vlogs. While the situation initially caused panic at home, it soon turned into a light-hearted moment, with the family joking about Aayushmaanâs history with such mishapsâhe had earlier lost Rs 80,000 in a similar scam.In the vlog, a visibly anxious Aayushmaan is seen saying, âMy credit card got swiped for Rs 87,000.â Sitting beside him, Archana quickly reacted, âJust cancel it. Call up the credit card company.â Explaining the situation, Aayushmaan said, âThey took the money for the entire year under the pretext of a seven-day free trial.â A stunned Archana repeated, âRs 87,000?â before again advising, âCancel the credit card.âAs Aaryamann burst into laughter, Parmeet stepped in to correct her, saying, âDonât cancel the card, cancel the payment.â Still confused and flustered, Aayushmaan asked, ‘Where do I look for that option?’ leaving the entire family, including Archana and Parmeet, laughing. Adding to the banter, Aaryamann teased him, âYou cannot take this money from mumma-papa.â Archana chimed in, âThis is your money.â Trying to justify himself, Aayushmaan said, âI did this for dad!â While Parmeet laughed at the remark, Archana quickly pointed out, âHe will take that money from you. So what are you so happy for?âParmeet then added, âI am not happy, I am just wondering how much heâs panicking over this.â As Aayushmaan tried to contact his bank to resolve the issue, he ran into another hurdle when the number didnât go through, prompting a frustrated, âReally?âAaryamann Sethi also brought up an earlier incident to highlight that this wasnât the first time his brother had been scammed. Recalling the moment, he said, âWhen we were doing recce for my song âChoti Baateinâ, Aayushmaan received a message saying around Rs 80,000 had been debited from his PlayStation account, which he never got back.âClarifying what went wrong this time, Aayushmaan Sethi explained that the transaction happened without his consent. âSomeone has taken money from my credit card without my permission. They had these options for seven-day trials, promising they would charge after the seventh day. But they charged me for the entire year in one go⌠without asking my permission,â he said.Reacting to the situation, Parmeet Sethi remarked, âYou are always in a hurry.â Aayushmaan, clearly annoyed, replied, âI wasnât in a hurry. And I was doing your job.â He went on to add, âYou guys are not dealing with this. I am dealing with this. Nobody has any expertise here, I will fix it myself.â His confident declaration once again left the entire family in splits.
