Cefnllys School closes immediately over health and safety issue
Cefnllys School in Llandrindod Wells has announced an immediate closure today due to what it has described as a health and safety issue.
In a message shared on social media, the school said: “Due to Health and Safety reasons the school must close IMMEDIATELY.”
Parents and carers have been asked to collect all pupils from the front entrance as soon as possible. The school stressed that “all children are safe” and said the closure relates to a health and safety matter.
The school has also advised that Year 5 and Year 6 pupils should be collected from the lake at 3.15pm.
School leaders said further information will be released shortly.
Parents are being urged to follow the school’s instructions and await further updates.
