Man Charged with Murder Following Fatal Stabbing in Levenshulme Park
LEVENSHULME, MANCHESTER – August 20, 2026 – A 23-year-old man, Glenn Shitama, has been formally charged with murder in connection with the tragic death of Zherko Rasul Osman, 24, who was fatally stabbed in a Levenshulme park last Saturday. The incident, which unfolded on Chapel Street, has sent shockwaves through the local community.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed they were called to reports of a stabbing near Chapel Street Park at approximately 7:00 PM on Saturday, August 15.
