The suspense surrounding the next chapter of one of India’s most successful crime-thriller franchises has finally been lifted. The makers of the highly anticipated third installment of the Drishyam franchise have officially announced that the film will be titled Drishyam: The Conclusion. The title suggests a definitive end to the gripping saga of Vijay Salgaonkar, sparking widespread speculation about how the family’s cat-and-mouse game with the law will finally reach its climax.

Ajay Devgn took to social media on Monday to share the big reveal, unveiling a hauntingly intense poster that features a close-up of his character’s eyes. Accompanying the visual was a powerful statement that reaffirms the central theme of the franchise: the unwavering devotion to family.

“Har insaan ka nazariya alag hota hai… mere liye meri family hi sab kuch hai,” Devgn wrote, echoing the ethos of his character, Vijay Salgaonkar. The film is officially slated for a theatrical release on October 2, a date that has become synonymous with the franchise’s legacy of high-tension storytelling.

Antony Perumbavoor, the producer behind the Malayalam series, recently confirmed at the Mazhavil Manorama Awards that Drishyam 4 is officially in development. This confirmation comes on the heels of the massive success of Drishyam 3 in the Malayalam film industry, which hit theaters on May 21 and quickly cemented its status as a blockbuster.
