Google Unveils Enhanced Sideloading Security for Android, Introduces "Advanced Flow" with 24-Hour Wait

Google had previously confirmed in June that its broader developer verification changes were on track for a September launch in specific markets. The introduction of this "advanced" sideloading flow marks a tangible step towards implementing these comprehensive security upgrades.
The initial rollout of this new process has been detailed in a recent public post. To activate the "advanced" flow, users will need to navigate to their device’s Developer options and manually enable "Allow apps from unverified developers."
