‘Enough is Enough’: Mandana Karimi Breaks Silence on Six-Year Stalking and Cyberbullying Ordeal

Even a relocation from India to Dubai has not provided the respite actor Mandana Karimi hoped for. The former Bigg Boss contestant recently took to social media to reveal that she continues to be the target of a persistent and malicious stalking campaign that has haunted her for the past six years.

A Persistent Campaign of Harassment

In a series of candid videos shared on Instagram, Karimi detailed how an anonymous entity has been systematically monitoring her life and sabotaging her professional relationships. According to the actor, the harassment began following her separation from Mumbai-based businessman Gaurav Gupta.

“I am on a holiday, and it has happened again,” Karimi shared with her followers. “I have dealt with a cyberbullying case and a stalker for over six years. Someone has paid a professional hacker to watch my posts closely. It’s still happening—I don’t understand who hates me so much and wants me to have no work, no money, and no friends.”

Karimi alleged that her professional network, including producers and co-stars, frequently receive emails from a fake account operating under the name “Meenakshi.” These messages often contain defamatory claims or demands for money. She noted that despite her best efforts to track the culprit four years ago—even hiring private assistance—the cycle of abuse remains unbroken.

Seeking Justice and Raising Awareness

Expressing her frustration with the lack of progress in previous legal interventions, Karimi stated, “The police in India couldn’t do anything in this case. Someone is just trying to destroy my name.”

The actor has now decided to take a public stand, sharing screenshots of the harassing emails as evidence. She issued a stern warning to her associates, urging them not to engage with the perpetrators. “If you receive any email concerning me, please do not engage, send money, or believe its contents,” she wrote. “Save it, take screenshots, and forward it to me. This is harassment, and I will no longer remain silent.”

The actor’s plight has sparked a conversation about the darker side of digital fame, shedding light on the severe toll that cyberbullying takes on public figures.

Finding Resilience

Despite the ongoing turmoil, Karimi has been vocal about her journey toward healing. In a recent post reflecting on her move to Dubai, she wrote, “Between grief and gratitude, I found my reflection again. The world changed overnight… Behind the smile is a story of loss, resilience, and starting over.”

A Challenging Path

Mandana Karimi, known for her roles in films like Roy, Bhaag Johnny, and Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3, has navigated a turbulent few years. Her high-profile marriage to Gaurav Gupta in 2017 ended in a legal battle, with Karimi filing a domestic violence case shortly after the wedding. The couple was officially granted a divorce in 2021.

As she attempts to rebuild her life abroad, Karimi’s public disclosure serves as a reminder of the urgent need for more effective measures against digital stalking and harassment. For now, she remains steadfast in her resolve to protect her reputation and move forward, refusing to be silenced by those operating in the shadows.
