Recounting this pivotal conversation during his 2025 appearance on ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 16’, the actor revealed, “I knew our Defence Minister, George Fernandes ji, so I called him.” He further elaborated on Fernandes’ initial reaction, stating, “Even he said it was impossible.”

For three years, while preparing for his role in the film ‘Prahaar’, the actor had trained rigorously with the Maratha Light Infantry.
