Publications Division Secures Seven Prestigious Honors at FIP Excellence in Book Production Awards 2026
New Delhi: The Publications Division, under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, has once again demonstrated its commitment to editorial excellence, clinching seven prestigious awards at the Federation of Indian Publishers (FIP) Awards for Excellence in Book Production 2026. This significant achievement underscores the organization’s dedication to producing high-quality literature across Hindi, English, and Urdu.
The Division’s diverse portfolio was recognized through a haul of four second-place prizes and three third-place honors, spanning categories as varied as reference works, general trade books, academic journals, and children’s literature.
A Spectrum of Excellence
The accolades reflect the breadth of the Division’s output. Among the standout winners receiving second-place honors were:
- ‘Bharat 2026’: Awarded in the Reference Books (Hindi) category.
- ‘Wings to Our Hopes – Volume 2’: Recognized in the General and Trade Books (English) category.
- ‘Yojana – July 2026’: Focused on the theme ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’, this journal secured a win in the Journals and House Magazines (Hindi) category.
- ‘Kurukshetra – A Rural Development Monthly Since 1952’: Honored in the Journals and House Magazines (English) category.
The Division also claimed three third-place prizes: ‘Dharti Ki Sehat’ (Children’s Books, Hindi), ‘Rangoli Roop Sur Lay Ki’ (Art and Coffee Table Books, Hindi), and ‘Ajkal Urdu – July 2026’ (Journals and House Magazines, Urdu).

Following the ceremony, Director General of the Publications Division, Dr. Dhiraj Kakadia, personally felicitated the editors and staff responsible for these award-winning projects.
