Symbiosis International University Opens Registration for SLAT 2027: Exam Dates, Eligibility, and Guidelines
Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has officially commenced the registration process for the SLAT 2027, the gateway for students aspiring to join prestigious undergraduate law programs across the university’s campuses in Pune, Noida, Hyderabad, and Nagpur.
Candidates aiming to secure a seat in the 2027 academic session can now submit their applications through the official portal, slat-test.org.
Important Exam Dates
Symbiosis has scheduled the entrance test to be held in two sessions to provide candidates with flexibility. The exam dates are set for:
- Test 1: December 19, 2026
- Test 2: December 26, 2026
Applicants are advised to complete their registration and submit the required examination fees no later than December 4, 2026.
Application Process
The application procedure requires candidates to fill in their personal and academic credentials accurately. To ensure security, candidates must verify their registered mobile number or email address via a One-Time Password (OTP). Upon successful registration, applicants will receive their unique SLAT ID and password via SMS and email.
Fee Structure:
- Registration Fee: Rs 2,550 per test (exclusive of applicable government taxes).
- Programme Fee: An additional fee of Rs 1,000 is required for each specific programme selected by the candidate.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the entrance exam, candidates must have successfully passed their Class 12 (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board. Minimum marks criteria are as follows:
- General Category: Minimum 45% aggregate marks or equivalent grade.
- SC/ST Categories: Minimum 40% aggregate marks.
Exam Pattern and Structure
The SLAT 2027 will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) across 62 designated centers nationwide. The paper consists of 60 questions to be completed within a 60-minute timeframe. Notably, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
The test comprises five key sections:
- Legal Reasoning
- Logical Aptitude
- Analytical Skills
- Reading Comprehension
- General Knowledge
Candidates have the option to appear for the test twice. If a student chooses to sit for both sessions, the university will consider the higher of the two scores for the admission process.
