Wolters Kluwer Enablon has been named a winner in the Software & Cloud category of the 2026 Environment+Energy Leader Awards, an annual program recognizing solutions that deliver measurable progress in energy management, environmental performance, and sustainability.Â
Announced globally on Earth Day 2026, the Environment+Energy Leader Awards honor products, projects, startups, and organizational initiatives that help organizations navigate increasingly complex environmental and energy challenges.
Award-winning software & cloud innovation
Enablon was recognized for its enterprise software platform that centralizes and harmonizes environmental, health and safety (EHS), ESG, operational risk, and Process Safety Management (PSM) data within a single, cloud native environment.
The system digitizes the core PSM lifecycle, from hazard identification and risk assessments to action tracking and audit management, supporting greater visibility and control in operating environments. Real-time analytics, bowtie visualizations, and dynamic dashboards provide instant insight across sites.
âThis is a very strong, polished entry that demonstrates excellent overall quality, clarity, and category relevance for Software & Cloud,â one judge wrote. âThe submission clearly articulates the problem of fragmented EHS, ESG, and process safety data and presents a comprehensive, integrated solution supported by a modern, cloud native, API first architecture.â
Judges also highlighted Enablonâs emphasis on quantified, real-world outcomes, noting that customer results strengthened the entry.
âThe inclusion of multiple concrete, quantified customer outcomes significantly strengthens the submission,â another judge observed, pointing to methane emissions reductions, waste diversion rates, declines in safety incidents, and improved corrective action closure.
The judgesâ assessment mirrors a broader shift in how organizations approach operational risk management. Rather than managing these disciplines separately, companies are increasingly focused on integrated platforms that provide real-time visibility and support.
Measurable impact across industries
In its submission, Enablon highlighted improvements reported by organizations using the platform across environmental, safety, and ESG performance, including:
- 37% reduction in methane emissions,Â
- 94% waste diversion rate across more than 120 locations,Â
- 52% reduction in incident rates, andÂ
- 99% corrective action closure rate
Together, these outcomes demonstrate Enablonâs ability to support both sustainability goals and operational integrity.
In announcing the 2026 winners, Sarah Roberts, Co-President and Publisher of Environment+Energy Leader, emphasized the growing importance of solutions that deliver tangible results.
âAs organizations navigate an increasingly dynamic and uncertain operating environment, the ability to improve efficiency, reduce emissions, and deliver measurable results has never been more critical,â Roberts said. âThis yearâs winners demonstrate the innovation and leadership required to move forward with clarity and impact.â
