MP NEET UG merit list 2026 released with 17,093 candidates; check toppers’ list and counselling schedule here

The Department of Public Health and Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, has officially unveiled the state merit list for the NEET UG 2026 admissions cycle. This crucial list pertains specifically to the 85% of MBBS and BDS seats allocated under the state quota. A substantial number of 17,093 NEET-qualified candidates have been identified as eligible to advance to the state-level counselling procedures.

Leading this prestigious list is Aryaman Singh Solanki from Jabalpur, who has clinched State Rank 1. His impressive performance is underscored by an All India Rank (AIR) of 46, achieving an outstanding score of 696 out of a possible 720, translating to an exceptional 99.9977 percentile. Following closely, Sarthak Sahu secured the second position in the state merit list, having scored 680 marks and an AIR of 301.

The detailed merit list provides comprehensive information for each candidate, including their state rank, All India Rank (AIR), full name, gender, their NEET UG score, and other pertinent details. An analysis of the top ten candidates reveals a diverse representation across various categories. Among these high achievers, seven candidates hail from the General category, two from the Other Backward Classes (OBC), and one from the Scheduled Tribes (ST) category. Notably, Hilor Ajmera stands out as the sole female candidate within the top ten, securing State Rank 7 with a score of 655 marks. Furthermore, the data indicates a strong performance overall, with ten candidates scoring above 648 marks, 34 candidates exceeding 629 marks, and a total of 168 candidates scoring above 599.

Aspiring medical students can easily access and download the MP NEET UG merit list in PDF format. The process is straightforward: candidates need to visit the official DME Madhya Pradesh portal, navigate to the ‘MP State Combined UG Counselling 2026’ section, and then select ‘State Merit List of Registered Candidates 2026’. Once the PDF is opened, individuals can search for their name or roll number, and then download and save the document for their records. It is crucial to remember that only those NEET-qualified candidates whose names appear on this state merit list are considered eligible for admission to MBBS and BDS seats under the Madhya Pradesh state quota.

In parallel with these state-level developments, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced a revised schedule for Round 1 of the All India Quota counselling. This pertains to the remaining 15% of MBBS and BDS seats. Online registration for this round is currently open and will conclude on August 15th, with the option for choice filling extending until August 17th. The critical ‘choice locking’ phase will be available exclusively on August 17th, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The eagerly anticipated Round 1 seat allotment results are slated for release on August 19th, followed by the reporting and joining period for successful candidates, scheduled from August 20th to August 25th.

For the academic session 2026-27, specific qualifying cut-offs for NEET UG have been established across different categories. Candidates from the Unreserved (UR) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories are required to achieve a 50th percentile, corresponding to scores ranging from 213 to 715. For those belonging to OBC, SC, and ST categories, a 40th percentile is mandated, with scores falling between 177 and 212. Physically disabled candidates within the UR/EWS categories (UR/EWS-PwD) must meet a 45th percentile, translating to scores from 194 to 212. Finally, for OBC-PwD and SC-PwD candidates, the cut-off range is 177 to 193, while ST-PwD candidates have a qualifying range of 177 to 191.
