Traffic was slow in the town centre following the incident
Emergency services descended on Heswall this morning (Thursday, April 30) and blocked off a road. Merseyside Police were called to Milner Road at 11.40am this morning and set-up a cordon on Milner Road.
Police cars, bikes and fire engines were at the scene in the town, with the air ambulance spotted hovering above. Traffic monitoring service Inrix reported at 12.21pm that Telegraph Road, close to the junction with Pensby Road, was slow due to the incident.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police told the ECHO the North West Ambulance Service were leading on the response and police were supporting with road closures. The force said that a man had a medical episode in his car. The man’s condition is not known at this stage.
All roads reopened in the area at around 1.30pm.
