Air India posts annual loss of $2.8 billion, Singapore Air results show


NEW DELHI, May 14 (Reuters) – Air ‌India posted ‌a $2.8 billion loss ​for fiscal year 2025-26, shareholder Singapore Airlines revealed ‌in ⁠its annual financial statements ⁠on Thursday, its biggest ​loss since ​it ​was bought ‌by the Tata Group in 2022.

Air India’s losses amounted to ‌3.56 billion ​Singapore ​dollars, ​the annual ‌report showed, which ​at ​current exchange rates was $2.8 ​billion.
