A promotional event for Double Occupancy earlier this Thursday came with a surprise announcement of sorts. The film’s producer Khusbhu Sundar revealed that discussions are underway for a Hindi remake of the film. “We are in talks to make this film in Hindi,” Khusbhu said while revealing that the news has been communicated to its director and cast only then and there. “Let us see. You will get an official confirmation very soon,” Khusbhu said about the Double Occupancy Hindi remake.
Directed by Aswin Kandasamy, the film stars Santhosh, Reshma Venkatesh, Samyuktha Viswanathan, Vinoth Kishan, and VTV Ganesh, among others. Khushbu produced it under her Avni Movies banner along with ACS Arun Kumar of Benzz Media.
The story follows Rajini (Santhosh) who lives their life as a female during the daytime and a male at night. However, concealing the truth about their life from their partners comes with a set of complications for Rajini.
