Wednesday serves as a reminder that the weekend is almost knocking at our doors. To beat the mid-week blues, many of us start planning on how to spend the 2-day window joyfully. Some embark on short trips, others hang out with friends or families and those who have zero energy left prefer to stay back home, relax and binge-watch their favourite shows or movies. If you belong to the latter category, then we have some good news. A fresh slate of the latest OTT releases is arriving this week, from May 13 to May 19, promising an exciting marathon for entertainment lovers.

Latest OTT releases of the week

Dhurandhar 2 – JioHotstar

Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the much-awaited sequel to director Aditya Dhar’s December 2025 blockbuster Dhurandhar, will be arriving on JioHotstar on May 15. The film focuses on Ranveer Singh’s Jaskirat Singh Rangi, disguised as Hamza Ali Mazari, an undercover spy rising through the Karachi underworld to avenge the 26/11 attacks while battling terror funding and political threats. Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt and R Madhavan reprise their roles in the second part.
Kartavya – Netflix

Saif Ali Khan will be slipping into the shoes of a righteous police officer, Pawan, in this cop-thriller, backed by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. The movie will be streaming on Netflix from May 15. The plot centres around Pawan, who fails to protect a journalist shot dead while under his watch. As the manhunt begins, he is constantly pressurised by his seniors, pulling him into a web of power, corruption, justice and moral conduct, while a larger threat looms over his family. Rasika Dugal, Sanjay Mishra, Zakir Hussain, Manish Chaudhari and Saurabh Dwivedi are also a part of the cast.

Exam – Prime Video

From National Award–winning Tamil director A. Sarkunam comes this socio-thriller series, putting the spotlight on the dark reality of competitive exam paper leaks. The 7-episode show premieres on Prime Video on May 15. It follows actress Dushara Vijayan, playing a young woman with a mysterious past, taking on the corrupt machinery behind Regional Public Service Examinations, where systemic injustice and personal ambition collide with explosive consequences. Aditi Balan, Abbas, Vasundhara Kashyap and Naren Mani play key roles.
Inspector Avinash Season 2 – JioHotstar

Randeep Hooda returns as the fearless supercop in Inspector Avinash Season 2, which marks its presence on JioHotstar on May 15. The series, based on real-life events, tells the tale of the courageous yet brash Inspector Avinash Mishra, an encounter specialist in 1990s Uttar Pradesh. Season 2 centres around Avinash fighting a dangerous criminal nexus regarding an illegal weapons network while his son is implicated in a murder case, fracturing Avinash’s marriage with his wife, Poonam. Season 2 also stars Amit Sial, Abhimanyu Singh, Urvashi Rautela, Rajneish Duggal, Shalin Bhanot and Freddy Daruwala
Oru Durooha Saahacharyathil – Netflix

Malayalam crime thriller Oru Durooha Saahacharyathil, directed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan and starring Kunchako Boban and Dileesh Pothan in lead roles, is coming on Netflix on May 13. The film follows Sethu, a timid health centre worker whose life is upended by a series of mysterious events following the arrival of a stranger in his home.
