Honor of Kings 2.0 Update Introduces Devara, an India-Inspired Hero With Hindi Voice Lines and a ₹1 Crore Rewards Program


Honor of Kings, the 5v5 mobile MOBA from Tencent’s TiMi Studio Group, has revealed its biggest update yet with Honor of Kings 2.0. The update introduces a ₹1 crore rewards program, a new India-inspired hero named Devara, new creator initiatives, and community events across the country.

The “Play to Earn: INR 10 Million Giveaway campaign” started in this update offers players rewards through gameplay, content creation, campus initiatives, and community participation. Players can also join a treasure hunt in game that gives them a chance to win 40 smartphone and Amazon gift cards. These rewards will be amplified on June 27, 2026 during the Peak Day Celebrations of the game.

HOK Plus 2.0 also introduces new player participation systems that reward in-game activity and engagement. Through the Consignment Shop ecosystem, players can earn rewards through gameplay, trade eligible items, accumulate exchange tokens, and redeem exclusive rewards, creating additional opportunities to benefit from active participation in the game.

A new Character Devara is also introduced in the game who is a close range fighter, with burst damage capabilities using his thunder powers. The character is heavily inspired by Indian heritage and traditions according to the developers, and he has Hindi voice lines in the game, which were submitted by the Indian fans of the game. For the launch of the character, Honor of Kings is launching special offline activation events in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi.

The update also introduces three other heroes coming to the game, Annette, Lorion, and Florentino. These characters are from the Arena of Valor games that will be joining in HOK as well.

Honor of kings is also increasing content creation opportunities in the country, by introducing a creator incentive policy rewarding creators on the basis of a ranking and performance-based system. High performing creators also get to participate in an HOK advance creator program which offers dedicated support, exclusive opportunities, and additional incentives. The game will also introduce a HOK India Influencer Team Tournament, allowing players to compete under influencer-led teams.

The game will also have exclusive grassroots level events in 32 universities across Delhi Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Guwahati. From July to September the game will host campus ambassador programs, university community activations, welcome events, and campus esports tournaments.

From June 19 to July 5, in 30 gaming cafes in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi, players will be able to participate in dedicated Devara-themed 1v1 challenges to win rewards like smartphones, cash prizes and other rewards.

Honor of Kings recently collaborated with the Detective Conan anime, which brought the iconic Detective Conan Edogawa and his arch-nemesis Kid the Phantom Thief to the game.
