A significant preference will be given to individuals with prior experience in handling telecommunication equipment, particularly those who served in the Signal Corps, aligning with the specialized nature of the Telecommunication Wing.
The selection process is straightforward, comprising document verification, a medical examination, and a thorough character and antecedent verification. There will be no written or physical tests. Successful candidates will undergo a 15-day capsule training course to prepare them for their new roles.
Remuneration and Required Documents
Selected Special Police Officers will receive a monthly honorarium of Rs. 20,000, which will be directly credited to their bank accounts. In addition to the monthly pay, SPOs will be granted a one-time uniform allowance of Rs. 3,000 and a daily TA/DA of Rs. 150 for official tours. There is no application fee for this recruitment.
Applicants must bring a comprehensive set of documents to their designated submission center. This includes the fully completed application form, all original documents along with one set of attested photocopies, necessary affidavits, and four recent passport-size color photographs.
The engagement will initially be for a period of one year, with the possibility of extension until regular appointments are made. To maintain impartiality and operational efficiency, SPOs will not be posted to their home police stations, although preference for their home district may be considered subject to availability. This recruitment drive marks a concerted effort by the Haryana Police to enhance its telecommunication capabilities by leveraging the valuable experience of retired and former service personnel.
