Chilean law firm Grupo Evans has announced the incorporation of Constanza Pelayo Díaz, who joins the firm to lead the environmental law practice.
Constanza holds a law degree from the Universidad de Chile and a master’s degree in environmental law from the Universidad de Desarrollo.
Prior to joining the firm, she served as head of the appeals department within the legal division of the Environmental Assessment Service (SEA), and has also worked at the Ministry of the Environment, Carey, LAWGIC Abogados, and WSP in Chile (formerly POCH Ambiental).
Her practice focuses on project development, proceedings before the Environmental Impact Assessment System (SEIA), regulatory compliance audits, environmental due diligence, and advising on administrative and judicial disputes in environmental matters.
Her addition strengthens Grupo Evans’ strategic growth process and consolidates the development of its practice in environmental and sustainability matters, the firm said.
